Well this week has been much more uneventful then the past few weeks. Zoe had some fun with marker at day care and slightly resembles a smurf. Although the marker was washable, it's still there a few days later.
Zoe learned to drink from a straw this week. We've tried to teach her in the past with no luck, but this week when Ryan and I got Jamba Juice she learned REALLY quickly.
Also this week, Zoe's birthday present came a few days early. We bought her a big toy box for all her toys, as they were starting to take over the living room. Here's how excited she was when we took it out of the box.
This week we will be celebrating a lot! We have our 2 year anniversary on Tuesday and Zoe's first birthday on Thursday. Lots of balloons and cake at the Humbert house this week!

Well without rehashing every detail of our weekend, it basically went like this.
Friday: Z & inlaws went to the coast. Ry & I enjoyed a quiet night at home.
Saturday: arrived at coast house, only to dsicover Z had and ear infection. Came home. Went to ER, sat in ER for 3 hours. got back home around 1am. It was a long day.
And Zoe has another new tooth. count: 12 teeth and 1 ear infection.
So we spent the rest of the weekend nursing Zoe back to health and laying low.
Not much planned for this week. I've been scrapbooking alot and hopefully I'll get our scanner to work so I can scan those pages to show.
Zoe turns 1 in just 9 days. Hopefully we'll have something more pleasant to blog about this week

Well we are back home, safe and sound. I didn't take as many pictures as I should have but here's a few.
Zoe waiting in the airport
Cousin Noah Papa & the munchkins Zoe will be 1 in a couple weeks, it's just crazy how fast it goes. I'll be doing a big birthday blog post don't worry.
While in OK, Zoe was the recipiant on 2 new teeth, so that brings the total to 11...11 teeth.
To sum up the trip:
*Taco Bueno, including cheesecake chimichangas (to die for)
*Taking cousin Noah's toys, a lot
*Zoe perfecting her beauty queen wave
*Lots of Cheerios
*Getting seriously lost in Witchta, KS, in the middle of a huge thunderstorm, coupled with large amounts of hail.
*Going to my first Mass & Catholic wedding in a beautiful Cathedral
*Watching a dear friend get married
*Cutting my hair short, again
*Shopping with my sisters
*Eating lots of Mom's good food
*Speed Scrabble/Word Vomit/Wulla Words
*Finding my baby blanket, which I promptly forgot to bring home
*Staying up talking till 1am talking about embarrassing 5th grade confessions :)
*The best 6th& 7th grade band concert I've ever been to

This is Bunny-Bunny. Zoe's bff. She got B-B for Easter and had loved him ever since. He goes to bed with her every night and gets lots of cuddles during the day. He's been a great comfort to Zoe since she's been sick/teething this week.
She seems to be on the tail end of this ailment and I managed to get some cute pictures of her before bathtime this morning.
Ryan is working today so Z and I are cleaning, cuddling and hanging out.
Happy Mother's Day to all tomorrow!
XOXO,
Holly & CO.
Zoe is down and out with a fever. I think it's related to teething, since she got yet another tooth and has a few more swollen bumps. (Yes the total is 8 now)
So we have been hibernating the past couple days, snuggling, sleeping and drinking lots of fluids.
Since I don't have any other noteworthy news, I'll post a couple pictures of some recent scrapbook pages. Enjoy and we'll be back this weekend, hopefully feeling much better!
XOXO,
Holly & Co.
Zoe said "Ma-Ma!" She's been saying "Da-Da" for what seems like forever. I'd get a ma here and a ma there, but not she says it regularily, and that makes me happy. She also says some D word for dog. It's a mixture between dad and dog. And this morning, I swear she said "hi dad."
I know this may not be that exciting, but that's what's going on at our house.
My new camera came. and Ryan fixed my old one, all in the same day. But my new one takes sharp pictures. I would have new Zoe pictures for you, but she wasn't exactly pleasent last night.
Ryan has finals this week and Zoe and I will be traveling to Oklahoma next week to see my family and attend a friend's wedding. So the rest of the week will be spent, studying and planning and hopefully packing. I'll try to sneak some new photos in soon!
XOXO,
Holly & Co.
